Shaun Keylock Company’s newest project provides archive services and legacy management for dance elders and their networks of collaborators.
Through the project, SKC presents rare video presentations, live performances, workshops, talks, film screenings, and lectures that reveal the significant impact queer elders have had on the dance history of Oregon and the Pacific Northwest.
This series marks the first time these choreographers' works will be performed outside of their original companies, many of which have not been seen in over 20 years. Through this new platform, we empower our elders to impart their knowledge of the history of dance in Oregon and share their wisdom and historic legacy with new generations of dancers, students and artists.
