Shaun Keylock Company — Calamus Premieres At New Expressive Works Portland June 2018
Calamus forms part of a quadruple bill alongside works by claire barrera, Decimus Yarbrough, and Sarah Brahim, June 15-17, 2018. Shaun Keylock conceived Calamus in collaboration with a cast of all-male dancers and Seattle-based sound artist and drag queen, Evan Swope. This is Keylock's first work created on an all-male cast, and was made possible through New Expressive Works' Artist Residency Program.
